What binds you to Dalaran-wow?

The answer may not be so simple to express, it's a type of answer that must be well thought out. I see that there are servers with thousands of players, yet I can't explain why I don't feel the same kind of connection to those servers.

Maybe it's because I've been playing on Dalaran-wow for longer than those others or maybe it's because of other reasons that I don't know at the moment.
Maybe I hope that many new players will choose this server, even if for some it may be something very unlikely to occur.

And you? Is there something that still binds you to this server or have you decided to put a tombstone on it permanently?

P.S.
I hope I haven't written anything that would bother Loth or the devs and cause him or them to delete this thread. On the contrary, I hope more that Loth and the developers have a good laugh and while laughing, they think to themselves: well, keep staying here poor fools! :D

It's the only server that trusted I wouldn't ruin the community by multiboxing. No one else seems to believe that.

Wrath to me was the peak of World of Warcraft and playing here lets me relive that huge nostalgia that I had for the time period.

To Acuteangle: what do you mean with "it's not overbearing"?

To Kimfeng: I could be wrong, but in the past it was not possible to multibox here too?

To Brodraec: I know what you mean. Sometimes feeling nostalgic doesn't make you turn the page because you think that maybe one day things will change. But despite this, coming to play here every now and then, even if only for half an hour or an hour is not bad.

I couldn't stop. It's the only server i know and trust. Plus my many charactures or toons as some have called them, I put so much time and effort to create and, nurture,? or should I say develope them. I couldn't just abandon them. So I guess you could call me a lifer. I will be here as long as the server is up and working. I've always thought Loth and the developers have done a great job and i applaud them. Please never leave us. I wish to say thank you for all you have done. And thanks to my fellow Dalaran WOW companions, who introduced me many years ago. Without there help and guidance, I may have never continued at first. But I grew to love the game. Again I say to all, thank you very much.

That the use of administrative powers is rarely exercised upon players. Other servers have a habit of treating their players as underlings who are expected to beg for mercy before the great might of the owner of not merely the server, but of the players' souls as well, reminding us all of our mortality and powerlessness in life before those who are greater than us.
And that is my job, but we come here to play a game.

We will stay here as long as the developers can or want to keep the server online and among other things, 10 or 20 people are enough for raids.

Part of it is having been here forever, which also induces a bit of a Stockholm syndrome...

It's also been pretty consistent fun without spending money - huge value, tbh!
