Hello everyone!
We're thrilled to welcome all new players who have decided to join us or are considering to do so on our Seasonal server: Dalaran Era.
Right now, we're in the first Era (Season), and we're excited to keep the adventure going for as long as we can. We know that our player numbers might seem low to some, but we're confident that future Eras will bring in more folks, and we might even see a surge during the next patch! Our main goal is to nurture our community and provide a WotLK home for those searching for one. Even with the lower numbers this Era, we're not discouraged and will keep pushing forward, making each Era better than the last, just as we've tried to do for the past 10 years.
Our current player count may be on the lower side, mostly because we launched close to Classic. We knew there was a chance that our first Era wouldn't be bustling, but we went ahead anyway to protect our players' hard work on their characters and breathe new life into the realm. After all, the previous realm, Algalon, had become heavily progressed and a bit outdated and Classic would have been a big impact for it, therefore we came up with this idea to generate more activity in a new realm while keeping their time and effort, if you want to know more you can check

this. To boost activity, we introduced a double reset for raids and cross-faction PvE, which has added some excitement to the weekly runs and helped more players attune and gear up quickly. We're sure the upcoming ICC patch and future Eras will attract even more players.
Here are a few facts to keep in mind:
We designed this Era with shorter Naxxramas and Trial of the Crusader durations (the tier we just released), so you can expect Icecrown Citadel to arrive soon.
Back in the day, we were the first server to add buffs and pre-nerf status to boss mechanics, always striving to keep things as challenging as possible. But we've adapted to the current situation and made the content more accessible and not create a bottleneck right now. In the next Era/Season, we plan to bring back the original difficulty levels that kept everyone on their toes.
Each Era may have a different focus, like PvP or PvE, cross-faction options, and other features. The best part? You, the community, will have a say in how things evolve.
Low-level RDF is a bit scarce right now, but don't worry! We've seen players helping each other out in global chat, so don't hesitate to ask for assistance or join a guild with alt characters.
RBGs and Arenas are also limited, but we're eager to promote PvP as soon as we can. We're currently working on designing a tournament similar to the Weekly Faction Tournament held on Algalon, but adapted for the new realm.
You'll find most of the action at level 80, with Raids, RDF, and some Wintergrasp events. There are also runs focused on obtaining achievements and other cool stuff.
While we're pouring our energy into Dalaran Era, when this Era comes to an end, you'll have the option to transfer to Algalon (which will get a patch update and be ready for everyone).
Some general info:
We want to be completely open and honest with you, and it's important for you to know that our community is generally warm and welcoming, but there might be a few trolls and doomsayers now and then. Here are some key points you may not be aware of:
Your character will always be there for you, as we don't delete or remove them unless you decide to delete them yourself or get your account banned.
You can rest easy knowing that your progress and items will always be there, no matter when you join or what you have achieved.
We've created a system where your characters grow across Eras and Realms. You can read more about it here: Bound to Dalaran. In a nutshell, everything you get in an Era will be transferred to Algalon, and when a new Era begins, you can start with an adapted level 80 character or a fresh one. Adapted characters will have the option to retrieve their gear, achievements, and other WotLK-related content, as long as it doesn't interfere with progression or relevancy. Plus, we'll open a poll before the next season to gather your thoughts and suggestions on this topic as a full fresh Era/season has been suggested by many.
We're a dedicated and passionate team, always working to improve our home. While we do have bugs, we take pride in our work and will continue to address any issues that arise.
Our small team trusts and supports one another, and we've been together for years. We have an internal rule against speaking in public chats or Discord since the beginning, as we think it interferes with the players’ immersion, but you can always find us on our website or submit an in-game ticket if you need assistance.
We've never been, are not, and will never be Pay-to-Win; you won't find any level 80 items/gear in our shops.

We've prepared some special events for our upcoming 10th Anniversary, we have decided to make an early gift available now to benefit both existing and new players! This way you can also help new players settle in.

To returning players who might be out of the loop:
If your account is locked due to inactivity, no worries! Simply email [email protected] for help.
If you previously had a level 80 character, it has been transferred to the new Dalaran Era server with progression-related restrictions in place.
Your WotLK-related gear, achievements, mounts, and more are not currently with your character but are safely stored and retrievable in the future.
Upon returning, you can complete a quest called "Welcome to Dalaran," which provides a basic green set of gear.
In the future, you'll be able to retrieve your stored items and content through the Vault of Eras. We'll provide more details on this process when the time comes.
