Paladins and Polearms?

All Races All Class
I just finished the path of the Adept quest and was rewarded a polearm.
The polearm name is in red. Normally this means that a class can't use the polearm.
Everything I have read says Paladins can use polearms.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

try learning it from a weapon master, I take it they removed that as well in retail then.

You can use polearms as Paladin, but in order to learn the weapon skill from the trainer you need to be lvl 20.

I am not sure where the correct weapon trainer for horde is located, but I think it was Undercity. Stormwind for alliance.
