Farming Northrend greens

What's the best way to farm level 75+ greens for disenchanting? I've got like a million essences but no dust.

Are there any mobs in 78-80 zones that can easily be AoE'd? Preferably humanoids/undead, seeing as I've also got Tailoring and could use the cloth.

Hm, finding a bit of success in Icecrown, farming "Converted Hero" in the southwest part of the zone. They're clumped up in nice little groups of 6-8, quite easy to AoE down, and drop tons of cloth and a good amount of greens.

In just 45 minutes or so, I was able to farm ~300 Frostweave (cloth scavenging) and 18 greens, plus a BoE blue and a Book of Glyph Mastery. And this is on a shit-geared Spriest; one of the worst AoE classes, so I'd imagine a nice Boomkin or Warlock or Mage would be able to farm these things way faster.

Yes, that location in IC is one of the best places to farm in my opinion.
But ya to be able to really benefit from the clumped up mobs you will need to kill them fast.
As a mage it goes extremely fast but if i take to many at one time i die in seconds if i am not careful (Cloth users not really the best class for receiving damage ;)

Another location if you are not that geared and maybe have LW is in sholazar basin killing clumps of gorillas.
Drops a lot of chilled meat and you gain Borean leather from them as well and they go down fast.
They dont drop as much greens as the mobs in IC but for one not that geared it is a good place to start in my opinion.

Another way to do it now that you are Tailor is to just farm the cloth and in turn make the greens and DE them with enchanting.
Depending on how much cloth you gain (Have not done so myself for a while) it might be a bigger profit then just farming for greens.

When i played my mage i was farming in icecrown converted heroes and those skeletons near ebon area and got alot of cloth. Was doing greens and DE them to make dust... alot of dust.

Seeing as the level 75-76 green tailoring items take TEN bolts of cloth to make, you can't really make that many of them, off of the cloth you farm.

You get more greens from drops than from crafting. (and higher level too, all of the green items I was looting were all level 77-79)

But still, yes, you can get additional enchanting mats by crafting stuff with all the cloth drops. That's what I'm doing as a tailor/ench.
