If i understand this correctly.. whenever third era begins. The lvl 80's from the Algalon realm won't be able to "transfer" into the realm? 3rd era is only for lvl 80's from 2nd era and fresh levelers?

Yeah, I'd wait and start on the new realm when its released, it supposed to come out in August

I will play with some of my chars from Algalon, but I will most likely start a new char and try a realm first :P

Additional questing: Couldn't find any info about professions being transfered over to era servers? Is it worth farming on algalon now?

If I am not wrong, professions are transfered, just not recipes from raids, but even those should be claimable on end game

From what i understand, when all the > gnome, chef, mage, etc will be done, then all the level 80 characters from Algalon (and previous era) will transfer.

The goal would be to have a level up experience as a fresh server, but, when done, you gain back your old character on that new server. (so you can continu raiding on it as you did before)
