Heirlooms on the Dalaran realm ???

At the moment it is possible to buy heirlooms in the vote/donation shop for your characters on Algalon. I was wondering if this service will be available on the Dalaran realm when it opens? and if not what restrictions would be in place for heirlooms on Dalaran?
Personally I would probably use this service if it was available, but I'm not sure I think it would be entirely fair, considering the race to wold first and whatnot. Anyway I would love to know the devs thoughts on this. :-) Cheers Gundin |

Hello community,
Heirlooms will not be available from the start. Of course, when the characters from Algalon unlock, they will have Heirlooms with themselves. As reminder, Algalon characters will unlock only when every race, class and profession achievement is obtained, so Heirlooms shouldn't affect to anything, really. It may encourage some to level new characters. Shops will also be available after Algalon characters unlock. However, as you probably know we have never been pay to win or have any kind of level 80 item there, and we will always remain the same. We will never have anything that may give an advantage to the level 80 endgame, that is one of the core ideals. Just cosmetics, mounts and non obtainable things (such as TGC items, previous expansions retired mounts...etc). Thank you! |
