Guys, listen up! We have a huge chance to get more people in Dalaran! There's a bunch of peeps out there who are looking for a new seasonal realm or a sweet WOTLK experience, especially since that other server (you know which one I'm talking about) is getting shut down, we're practically the only good seasonal option. Today, some dude on Discord was asking about joining with his guild, and another person on wowservers was wondering how Dalaran is just now. We gotta hop on that post and let 'em know about this server!
If we do this right and make everyone feel welcome, we could totally bring in more folks and show 'em that Dalaran is way better than the big, corrupt W. We just need more ppl! Let's do this! https://www.reddit.com/r/wowservers/comments/12grp70/hows_dalaran_wow/ And yeah, the big corrupt W did a HUGE slap in the face to the community. |

Hi, I'm from W server (I don't know if its against the rules to name other servers). I'll give you some context of what happened:
Basically, the seasonal realm is about to end and we expected another season, but Staff are working on another realm and they don't want to risk their time on both realms, so they are shutting down their seasonal realm for now. The problem is that the new realm won't launch for a few months, so some of their playerbase have nowhere to go now. We are trying to change their minds and convince them to release the seasonal realm, but if they don't do it most of them will look for a different server. |

Hello!
Thank you Milksq for the heads up! Thank you for the effort and willingness to promote our home. @Koldwen, We are sorry if you had to look for another home. However, we want you to know that we are always here to welcome you and your friends with open arms. We are focused on our Seasonal realm called Dalaran Era, and we are currently in our first of many Eras. We have dedicated ourselves to preserving the efforts of our current players, while also creating an environment that is open to new players at any time. We strive to provide a stable and engaging experience for all of our members. We can't speak for how other projects operate, but we are devoted to providing a unique WotLK experience with new and exciting ideas that keep the activity level high. We believe that our community is what sets us apart and makes Dalaran what it is, we are not the best in numbers, but we got an amazing community! If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to any of our Game Masters with an ingame ticket. We're always happy to chat and provide more details about our home. We have just released Tier 9 (Koralon the next week), but we have exciting and great news for our next season/era. Nonetheless, we had planned to offer a gift for our upcoming 10th anniversary in a couple of months. However, seeing that some of you might join us soon, we've decided to offer this gift in the next few weeks so that you can also take advantage of it. Thank you for reaching us. And if you decide to join, welcome to your new home! |

Finally! We need more presence in wowservers, if all those who complain that the pop is low help now to promote dalaran, things can easily change. It'd be nice if the ppl from that server come at the same time, that way pop would influx at once and the ones comming now and then wouldn't be afraid of pop. It is simple, if all those who are looking for a place stay here, the low pop will no longer be low!

Thank you for the welcome. I have been learning about your server, the realms, and the experience you offer. I have also been discussing with my guild and other players from W to try to move here.
In summary, the progressive realm caught their attention and seems very promising, but the biggest concern is the size of the population. They are also worried that the difficulty of the realm might be too easy (we like challenging content), although this is a more secondary concern. The lack of population can be ignored while leveling up (although it's always appreciated not to play alone), but they are afraid that when they reach level 80 they won't be able to do raids or heroic dungeons (especially the DPS). If we all decided to come to Dalaran, population would not be a problem (since there would be plenty of players), but many are afraid to take the first step and risk "wasting time". It's a vicious cycle that you probably already know. Still, some of us have decided to take the leap and try the progressive realm with the goal of moving our guilds. In my case, I am still leveling up and have plenty of things to try, but if everything goes well, my guild will likely join you, and we can enjoy the game together :) |
