Warrior Defensive Stance Quest

I can't seem to obtain Defensive Stance.

the questgivers in Org, TB, UC, Mulgore, Durotar, or Tirisfal do not offer it for some reason. I can't train it directly. I even tried going to the NPC in the 2nd step (Uzzek in The Barrens) and he offers me nothing, nor does the NPC on the island near Rachet. I have made sure I have low level quests tracked and talk to all of them anyway, and am offered nothing.

Am I missing something or is my character bugged?

You can pick up the quest in org at the warrior trainer, you can pick up the quests for both defensive and berserker stance as long as you meet the level requirements

The trainers in Org don't appear to have anything for me. Ditto for the ones in Thunder Bluff or UC.

Are you talking about different ones?

As you can see in the pic, I am level 29 so I am way past the level requirement for defensive stance.

No that is the correct trainer that gives it, I just got mine yesterday so its weird that you cant see it :/ might be bugged atm or available to you at another level

I've been opening tickets every day for 3 days, I think the times that I'm on aren't when GMs are. :( Is there a better way to contact the GMs to see if this is a bug or if I'm just being silly?

Have you done all of your class quests? I think the Tauren defensive stance quest starts at Krang Stonehoof (the warrior trainer in Bloodhoof Village) - he gives you a quest to seek out Veteran Uzzek, an orc on the border between the Barrens and Durotar http://wotlk.openwow.com/quest=1505
I think if you follow that quest chain you should get it - I did this the other day on a fresh warrior.

Also, put low level quest giver icon on, as you're already over that level you might miss it if you rely on looking at mini map for quest givers.

Maybe there's another warrior quest prerequisite that's not listed on the database websites?

Edit for anyone who stumbles on this thread:

The problem was fixed by a GM forcing the quest into my log and I now appear to be back on track. I never found out why or how this bug occurred nor a self-help solution. I did however seem to get a better response by posting on the forums about it.



If developers or troubleshooters would like more information about this bug I'd be happy to provide what I can. My name on Algalon is the same as my name here.
