Edit: What I mean with this is, we are checking the results constantly. However, we need a bit of time so the word spreads and more players vote, this way we can base the output on a better or at least a more informed decision.

No worries at all, you haven't lost anything. Once Algalon is re-opened you will have everything there.

I'd also like to say a quick note; as stated on the latest news, there will be a new realm - that's for sure. However, we still need to discuss about some specifics, such as cross-faction, the rates etc. For example, even though plenty of players voted x1 rates, there are also a considerable amount of specifications through the "other" option, which was available as an answer. So, we will be considering other rates, of course, as we understand nowadays many players might prefer x3 etc, as well as some quality of life additions that many suggested. We have always been a PvP server, however, it looks like the balance at the moment says that most of the players wish for our new realm to be PvE, this needs to be thought carefully but, if most of the players wish so, we are up for it.

We are open to suggestions and nothing is set in stone in regards to the server specifications - just that, there will be a new long term realm and that we are going to reopen Algalon, with transfers from Dalaran.

We want, as mentioned, to shape this new step altogether with the community - however, it is not possible to please everyone.

Thank you for the suggestions. Transmogrification was something quite mentioned so, we are considering it as addition. We will be giving more updates soon, in the meanwhile, every thought is welcome.
