Issues with Transfers
Hello there.
The long time needed to wait before your character transfer is completed, is not a system issue. It is due the current character overload - we have had more than 3.000 characters in queue.
If you are going to use the transfer system, please remember every condition and restriction. We will rewrite them here:
- Your character must be at least level 50, and you can queue your character only once.
- You only can queue 1 character per account until further notice.
- The maximum amount of gold allowed to transfer is 4.000 gold, and you will have it deducted from your character on Kirin Tor. The gold you transfer, will be removed from Kirin Tor no matter what.
- The transfer time is relative, it depends on many things. You could be waiting few days.
- The progress done on Kirin Tor AFTER you queued your character will not be transferred to Algalon, that involves experience, gold, items and so on.
- Transfers are free and there is no way that your donations will make transfers faster. It would be unfair for the rest of the players. You will have to wait, like everyone else.
- There is no possible way to notify your position in queue, or how much time will take to your transfer.
Possible issues if you don't read the guides:
If you used instant 70 just before queue:
- If you don't have the gold/items on Algalon: It is because you did not pick up them from the mailbox on Kirin Tor before queue your character, as explained in the guide: How to use Instant 70 option.
- Items/Gold without transfer: Certainly, you picked up them from the mailbox AFTER you queued your character, so as it is said, all the progress done AFTER you use the transfer system will not be reflected in your Algalon\'s copied character. If your ticket, post, premium ticket or private message is related to these issues, you will have less priority than other players with different troubles. Please do not complain or blame if you experience some thing mentioned before, you should have read this first before queing your character. We will not assist those players who annoy, insist or do not show any kind of patience with us, since everything is explained and you should not have any kind of this issue if you are well documented before start transfering.
Possible issues with the character's name:
- If you were notified by Spadita, you should carefully read the message about how to proceed to unlock your name.
- If you reserved your name on Algalon with one level 1 character and after delete him to free the name, it remains as non-available, call your character with a random one, enter into the world and write an in-game ticket asking for a rename (it can be done even if you are offline).
Possible real issues during the transfer process:
1) You have 10 characters already on Algalon, your character transfer will not succeed until you delete at least one.
2) You were not able to click on "Transfer" at the last step, there is no message.
If you experience the second issue, please contact via private message through the website to Malkavia, indicating the name of the character you are trying to transfer. Remember that you need to have selected a character on the forums in order to be able comunicate with a Game Master.
