As of today, the Faction Tournament has come to its new form, so we would like to mention few details:
The PvP winner from last week, (Horde) will enjoy the usual rewards during the week, even if it is not shown on the website.
As a consequence, there won’t be any winner for the Faction Tournament just yet, and the prizewinner will be marked as pending.
The new Faction Tournament sections and rewards are already active.
What is new?
Zone of Action (ZoA): Stranglethorn Valley | Killing Zul’Gurub bosses, winning the Gurubashi Arena, gaining reputation Booty Bay/Bloodsail Buccaneers will grant Faction points. More information here.
Participation Rewards: Already active, including the extra loot in Gurubashi chest.
New additions, next Friday 26th:
Rewards: Players from the winning faction who participate in Wintergrasp will have a chance to obtain an emblem (based on character progression) or Arena Points.
Weekly additional rewards NPC: There will be a new NPC within the Dalaran Sewers who will reward a weekly participation bundle by talking to him (it may contain Arena Points, Emblems, Honour, Items...etc). The reward bundle will be random, but the winning Faction will have a much more juicy reward.
We have been receiving a lot of suggestions in order to try balancing PvP as much as possible:
It looks like many players are against Shadowmourne in PvP - so we have decided to perform a poll and gather a bit more information from our community.This poll is NOT decisive, we just want to see the overall opinion. We have decided to make Relentless gear purchasable with Honor points, more information about when it will go live will be posted soon.
